Lead Consultant (Protocol Stack) - 1 position
Job Type : Contract (6 months - initially)

For our client who is a global leader in semicondictors and software
storage, we need a highly experienced Protocol Stack Engineer. The ideal
applicant will hold a good First Degree/Masters in Telecommunications or
Computer Science and have extensive experience of the ETSI / 3GPP GSM
/ GPRS / EDGE / UMTS systems; 2.5G and 3G air interface and design and
development of protocol stack functionality.
You should also be familiar with coding in ANSI C; have hands-on
experience with software simulation and automatic regression test
systems and embedded real-time software development. You should also
have experience of leading a small team (4-5 engineers) and proven ability
to work in a customer facing role.
Knowledge of HSDPA and HSUPA principles and implementation would be
beneficial as would knowledge of TTCN and UML.
