eXplanoTech announces the public workshop on Small Cells and WiFi integration in EPC giving the lead to the 3rd Small Cells Global Congress 2013, on November the 4th in Berlin.
Small Cells and WiFi are gaining wider adoption with the aim to improve coverage, increase network capacity and offload macro cell traffic. The technical standards are moving fast to develop new features and integrate Small Cells and WiFi in the evolved packet core (EPC) with minimum possible complexity.
As a progressive company with long experience in the field of Small Cells, we could not miss an event like the Small Cells Global Congress. In fact, being dedicated in explaining technology we chose to participate more actively by leading the pre-conference workshop at the third annual Small Cells Global Congress in Berlin on the 4th of November 2013. The workshop aims to look at some of these new features developed or still under-development by 3GPP in Release 11 and beyond, as well as the integration with the WiFi standards.
As a technical consultancy we have participated in a number of small cells related projects while we have prepared two complete training courses on small cells, "Small Cells: Introduction and Architecture" and "Small Cells: HetNets and Offloading". We are looking forward to meet you in Berlin on November. For more information please visit: www.smallcellsevent.com and www.explanotech.com.
